West Howe is to mark the end of a decade of lottery funding with a community celebration on March 15.
The area in Bournemouth was one of just over 80 places in the country that was picked in 2003 by the Fair Share Trust to be financially supported in a ten year programme.

A new Dog Café service for pampered pooches who fancy a snack and drink whilst out with their owners has been launched by pet store chain PamPurredPets. Staff at the company’s high street and retail park stores in southern England and south wales, including Poole, Bournemouth, Ferndown and Ringwood will offer free samples of food and treats to visiting dogs as well as offer a bowl of water.

MP Questions Minister for Schools on Pupil Premium

MP Annette Brooke visited Rushcombe First School in Corfe Mullen early this week to see the excellent work being done by the staff and pupils. She was particularly impressed with an Iron Age project, which incorporated the efforts of all age groups, and said that she thought the school was a “very impressive learning environment.”
