Poole Grammar School’s Great Donation

Pupils at Poole Grammar School in Dorset have donated £1,289.66 to the Great Heath Living Landscape project after holding a non-school uniform day.
Sicth Form student, Dan Boucher, aged 17, said, “Everybody was really happy to contribute to Dorset Wildlife Trust, and through activities like this and our ‘Green Week’ in May 2015, students can see the importance of looking after the local environment.

West Parley masked thieves tie victim up

Two masked men entered an address on Christchurch Road, near to the Parley Cross traffic lights last Wednesday evening (17 December) and threatened the female occupant with a letter opener with a long silver blade and demanded money. A Royal Mail bag containing special delivery post was stolen from an insecure hire vehicle parked at the Royal Mail depot in Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth on 17 December at around 5.20pm. Hardened criminal activity blocks toilets

Local people are being asked for their help in tracking down individuals who vandalised several public toilets in Poole by filling them with cement.
The first incident happened in the unisex cubicles at Constitution Hill. Two of the three toilet cubicles had large amounts of cement poured down the toilet pans. The individuals struck between 6pm on 19 November and 8am on 20 November.
