Callum Watson received a Christmas gift worth waiting for when he was presented with his first tricycle at Castle Gardens in Sherborne. Callum, 18, was diagnosed with Fragile X Syndrome at an early age, a genetic condition causing learning disabilities, and asked Father Christmas for the bike when he met him at Castle Gardens last December.

Amberwood House Open Day supports Local Young People

As part of National Care Home Day on Saturday Amberwood House Care Home in Ferndown hosted a commemoration of the ‘Battle of Waterloo,’ the proceeds of which will be donated to local charity, the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.
